OUR VISION

Our tented camps are designed and built to have the least possible impact on the land and surrounding environments. With a maximum of just 16 guest tents per camp, we strive to minimize the use of hard infrastructure so that all facilities may eventually be removed without a trace. We employ cutting edge technologies to generate sustainable energy, minimize waste and our energy and water needs.

Wildlife and habitat conservation are at the heart of everything we do. A crucial tenet of our mission is to acquire and protect large tracts of land in sensitive natural areas and to preserve critical wildlife habitat. And through our non-profit Entrada Foundation, we will donate 1% of our gross revenue to support community conservation initiatives and will actively educate our guests about local conservation issues and provide them with a mechanism to donate themselves.

We are deeply committed to being good. engaged citizens of the communities where we operate. As such, we strive to contribute meaningfully to local economies, support local people and enhance their quality of life. Our model of low-impact, high value tourism (a small number of rooms sold at a very high rate) ensures that we will have minimal impact on the overall visitor capacity of our destinations, while allowing us to contribute significantly to the local tax base and to pay above market salaries and benefits to our staff.
